Apple Killing Mac OSX?
I just got on the Mac bandwagon (approximately a year ago) and man, have I been impressed. I can't imagine being a PC user ever again. Mac seems perfect for what I use it for. And more importantly, I spend my time using the computer instead of trying to get applications to work or fixing issues that crop up. It just works.
On the other hand to my new Mac fan-girl-ness, I HATE iOS. I'm guessing that it's because it's so damn simple. Simple and therefore limiting. I want to be able to customize everything in the way that I want. I want it to look exactly how I want it to look.
So the idea of Mac OSX ever being replaced by iOS makes me want to vomit up my supper. And cry a little.
When I touch iPhones (or iPods even), I want to immediately throw the device across the room, or take sharp objects and gouge out the screen. Anger. Unnecessary, unbridled anger. And I am a very, very peaceful person.
Anyway, here's hoping they don't turn the lovely little Macbooks and iMacs into the freaking one button controlled computers of the future.
