SDCC Comic-Con Ticket Sale Fail + NYC CC Gets Additional Day

Twitter Comic Con FailTIcket Leap was having serious issues handling San Diego Comic-Con sales today, as evidenced by #SDCC Twitter dominance.

People trying to purchase tickets were faced with "Try again momentarily". With the speed in which tickets were selling out, it definitely was a frustrating and disappointing experience for some.

Comic-Con International 2011 is at the San Diego Convention Center again from July 21-24, 2011. Four-day passes cost $105 for adults, and $52 for children 12-17, seniors 60 and older. If you want to hit only one day between July 21st-23rd, it'll cost you $37/18, and Sunday's festivities will set you back $20/10. Children under 12 get in for free (if accompanied by an adult).

Meanwhile, great news for 5-year old, New York Comic-Con. An additonal day is being scheduled as the event usually sees almost 100,00 fans and is growing. Show dates are October 13th to October 16th, 2011.
