Google Maps Starting RealTime Estimates of Transit Arrival

The future is now.

Google Maps is to provide RT estimates of bus arrivals in six locations to start. (Boston, San Diego, San Francisco, Portland, Madrid, Turin)

With the ubiquity of Google Maps in general, this doesn't seem like the biggest feat.

But, I remember when I would have to wait a half hour in the freezing Toronto cold for the freaking Parkdale bus to arrive, and then see an "out-of-service" one pass. Grrrr.

And I didn't even have it all that bad in comparison to some places. Also, the picture makes me laugh. I think it's the headband.
